Pumpkin Smoothie

Perfect for Thanksgiving or any time you want to spice things up with a cool drink, try this twist on a Pumpkin Smoothie!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (125 mL) pumpkin puree, fresh or canned
  • ½ cup (125 mL) Greek yogurt, fat-free
  • ½ cup (125 mL) milk, fat-free
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) agave nectar
  • ½ tsp (2.5 mL) pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp (1.25 mL) cinnamon, ground
  • 1/8 (0.65 mL) ginger, ground
  • 5-8 ice cubes, crushed
  • nutmeg

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.  Pour evenly into two chilled glasses and garnish each with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
